NMT’s ZOEwi™ Contract with U.S. Surgeon General Complete
Las Vegas, NV – December 18, 2007
On December 14th, Noninvasive Medical Technologies successfully fulfilled its R&D contract to the United States Assistant Surgeon General’s office. With Senator Harry Reid’s support, Congress awarded the $1 million contract, in March of 2007, to develop and test an ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) based fluid status monitor in collaboration with Oakridge National Laboratory (The DOE’s largest Science and Energy Lab).
ZOEwi™ clinical trials were conducted at the United States Air Force Academy in November and a final demonstration of the ZOEwi™ fluid status monitoring technology was presented to the SGR at Fort Detrick, AFMESA headquarters.
Noninvasive Medical Technologies’ ZOEwi™ fluid status monitor was developed for the purpose of monitoring and preventing hydration-related injuries in military and athletic applications. |
